This May we’ll offer a day long exploration of the Yoga of Sex and Death. We’ll use movement, breath, inquiry, sound, and meditation to open ourselves to examine the mystery of our lives by pulling its two ends taut. Contemplating your life as a thread; its origin in your conception, it’s culmination in your death. We’ll explore the specific ancestral confluence that gave rise to your birth, and the wave initiated at the moment of conception. We’ll marvel at that wave’s arc and imagine its resorption back into the whole.

What is this life force that animates us? What is its relationship to sex? What happens to it when we die? What influence do the entry point and exit point have on the trajectory of our lives? We’ll take a moment to cultivate wonder and sit in the mystery. All are welcome to join.

About your guide:

Laura Carrotti is a seeker of meaning. She's spent the last two decades studying with masters and fools all throughout India, Thailand, and South America, and is initiated in Traditional Tantra.

The core of Laura’s teaching, and her mission, is to bring people back into their totality, and to help them re-evaluate the relationship they have with their sexuality and broaden their view of what it is to be a person. Her work blends self-inquiry, dynamic forms of meditation, breath, yoga, and good old honesty. Her specialty is in unraveling the war we are all in with ourselves.

Laura has been leading Tantra groups in Europe, Asia, South America and the U.S. for over fifteen years and teaching Yoga philosophy and practice for twenty. She is also a trauma informed, Somatic Experiencing practitioner.
